Tze Char – Fu Seafood Restaurant
Where to eat in Singapore | Tze Char
Fu Seafood Restaurant is a basically a Tze Char Stall. It is tuck in a private enclave area therefore not many people will know this stall. We chance upon this stall on our adventure food hunting trip.
The serving size is always very generous. I remember that our order have to always Tabao away as the serving size is really too much for the 2 of us. In fact, their small size is equal to large size for most of the Tze Char stalls.
Not much crowd to be seen on weekend, probably we are always early in the evening. Many of whom, maybe the residents in the estate.
We visited the stalls recently, it was crowded at 7pm. We order Prawn Paste Fried Chicken, Pu Jing Pork Rib, Sambal Kangkong and Cai Po Beancurb.
Severing size drop, we would say normal, same as other Tze Char Stall. Taste wise not as fantastic as before. The marination for Prawn Paste Fried Chicken is not enough but the chicken is nicely fried, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
Pu Jing Pork Rib, simply mean pork rib fried with mayonnaise. We say is normal only, pork didn’t fried well. Mayonnaise is not generous enough therefore is coated well on pork.
Not fantastic to talk about sambal kangkong. Portion a bit small as compare to the rest.
Beancurb is the worst dish among all. Cai po is not evenly cook and is tasteless. Beancurb’s skin is dry, most probably keep for a long time.
Pu Jing Pork Rib
We spent $38 altogether. This meal serves 3 adults.
